Rocket Group Gasket 8.5 mm, Brew Head Gasket – Original Spare Part
The portafilter slides into the group head, turns a little, and then that quiet, solid click that tells you: sealed. Sometimes the standard thickness no longer gets you there – that's when this slightly thicker 8.5 mm version comes in.
Rubber loses tension over time under heat and pressure, and on some groups the portafilter can still turn noticeably too far past centre even with a fresh 8 mm gasket. The 8.5 mm gasket compensates for that extra play and brings the portafilter back to its correct final position.
